Had another MRI today, no surgery! Stoked, seems the bulging disc has sorta corrected itself with all the physical therapy. I was really really worried about back surgery and the 6-8 weeks of recovery.

was just put on a methadone detox program to ween me off all the morphine and other bullshit I had be downing over the last few months. Anyone else ever tried methadone? Shit is WEIRD...I'm way spacey and kinda dizzy, but not in a fun or euphoric way, just weird.

when I broke my pelvis I was on my back with an external halo type device around my crotch. The had me on an iv morphine drip that I controlled. I would press that damn button every 10 minutes, pain or no pain.

fuck yes, a rat on a never ending wheel running into oblivion. Man I am so excited to be off this shit and in control again, it's certainly bigger than I am.
My friends talk about how lucky I am to have all these killer meds and shit, at first it is fun yeah. but after enough time, its just a burden. anyhow it's good to know there is someone else out there who's worked through the demons.
