do you want that graphic??? its comes embeded into CS and CS2.
its part of the templates.
press: Shift+Command+Nor go into the templates folder in the CS or CS2 folders respectivly and goto the folder: Cool Extras/ Templates/ Tech 1 or Tech 2
that wavy line graphic is located in all of those files. ive seen it a lot lately and i love pointing it out to the designers that thought they were clever enough to draw it them selves and i gladly pop their bullshit bubble.

you can do blends with dotted or slashed lines! it is my favorite way to do diagonal stripes, etc. in illustrator...

if its just the dashed lines spiral...you could create a verticle line and apply the dash via the stroke and copy paste it to the right or left and repeat that till you have a square and group them... Effect/ Warp/ Twist/ Bend:100
and return the same effect and then expand appearance and fill the strokes with a gradient overlay to achieve the colour effect you want
then put the selected graphic on top.
or tweak the spirals you get from the templates..

FilterIt can be buggy for your system... un-install it when you're done...

i reckon its pretty similar just closer rotations... if u look on the top right hand corner of the center immage u can see the rotation pattern..
all u have to do is
make a curvy line>
set a central point of rotation > ctrl+drag(rotate) >
ctrl+D (step/repeat)
