It's nowhere as bad as it used to be and people go to Shoreditch thinking it's some kind of tourist destanation "Ooooh, look, he's SO Hoxton, he's wearing _tight_ jeans and big shoes....fancy that!"

Ah but then there's the ropey titty bars, decent agencies, brick lane, bethnal green, cider and plenty of pubs. If you can avoid the Kelly Osbournes and Klaxon-ites you're ok.
