its a homage to great artists!! it clearly states it.he shows his inspiration,, he links the original artists sites, he has a portfolio...where is the rip??
the colours??? the content?? the clientel??
please explain...im curious to hear it.

theres been worse rip-offs than this.
all he's done is stolen a layout idea.
at least he's created this site from scratch and not stolen images and sourcecode from the original.
i was going to say that its probably some students portfolio site and to "leave the kid alone"
but it turns out that the guy graduated 5 years ago and has been working as a freelance designer since then.
so what he's done is a bit shameful seeing as he's meant to be a "qualified" designer.if he'd taken the layout concept and tweaked it to more of his own design then i wouldve let him off lol.
it IS a rip off

i dont think he sucks. aat least he is trying.
perhaps its like studying art history, learn from those whom you love and achieve your greater strengths.
perhaps its just learning curve for him.

i see similar art to Tycho but its not their art. the feel seems the same but its not the same.
i appluad him, its a beginning to something he can make his own.

I'll admit I didn't realise how young the guy was, so some allowance should be given.
Also I have no problem with learning from artists you appreciate, in fact I think it's essential. But persionally I've always strived to be original and develope my own style.

just as you are trying to develop your own style, remeber that a lifetime of art has been created before you started yours that anyone can easily say your own art may be ripping someone elses previously created art, yet its something you know you created yourself but can be viewed differently from others.
