iPod issue :(

    So I plugged my iPod into my computer here at work (running Win XP Pro and fully updated) and it keeps bringing up my PREVIOUS iPod (Shuffle) and it tells me that my new iPod (Video) has 398GB of storage and shows no music or anything loaded on it.

    Has anyone had this happen before? I'm pouring over Apple's support pages but I'm not finding much that's fixing my issue.
