I got a CD by Call Sound Call Noise that says the packaging is vegetable-based inks (?) on recycled paper.

yes, there are vegetable-based inks that are far more environmentally sustainable and friendly than what is on almost every press.

I think a lot of the UK based printers now use vegtable based ink as standard. I know ours does. Also GF Smith have just launched a really nice 100% recycled stock...expensive though!
