Anyone a fan of Bright Eyes? New album is superb. Anyone else heard it yet? It's doing the rounds on Bittorrent and MP3 websites but I'll definitely be buying on April 10th.

Yeah, I've heard it. It's interesting, not having heard any of his stuff before.
How ever the new Wilco is momentous. Never really got them before but sky blue sky is fantastic.

I saw Bright Eyes live at Shepherds Bush about 4 years ago, they had Nick Zinner (YYY's) playing with them and a harpist. One of the best live acts I've seen, oh yeah and Modest Mouse were supporting.
I don't know how they manage to continuously put out such good music. Cassadaga is brilliant.

Conor Oberst is a brilliant lyricist.
I still bothers me that his voice sucks, but at least his music is good.

Yes, the lead singer of Modest Mouse also has an unconventional voice, but it has grown on me.
I appreciate it when people work on their voice before the next album though...
