so he makes a movie out of other people's movies and feels ripped when apple does at most an homage? I guess apple could start complaining that people are ripping of their aqua look and the reflection on black look too.

that's a rip, plain and simple. Which would be fine buts apple portrays themselves as so groundbreaking. The worst was when they ripped off that music video for the intel ad a little while back . . .

yeah that's a rip, especially since they asked for permission to use the idea and he said no.

dont blame apple, blame TBWA for making those ads, but blame apple for approving them knowingly its from an artist who said no to reusing the idea.
i guess they started to ask the originators of ideas after last few of their ads were a rip of someone else.
