hahahah@mimio... nicely done w/the trick question...
... i'm more curious as to what would have went down if it was American forces that the Iranians captured.

What's truly disturbing are the public protests in Iran calling for the executions of the British detainees. Such a thing hasn't even been paralleled for the 9/11 planners in Guantanamo.
As for you envisioning me a as a bag of penises...I can only encourage you to explore those feelings with a consenting adult other than myself. Go cock-crazy you poor repressed man. ;)

Ponyboy. Have you ever seen the movie Rambo?
That.
But with more killin
- k0na_an0k0
I agree with both of your statements Mimio.
- Mimio0
This situation already happened in the late 70's under Carter remember?
- PonyBoy0
that wasn't military though, mimio...
... i'm sayin'... if Iran tried to capture 15 U.S. soldiers...
...
... and I tend to agree w/k0na that Sly Stallone would in fact make a cameo appearance at such an event.

they were in iranian waters, right?
Are they or are they not a sovereign nation?
If 15 iranians were captured in american waters they would be sent to gitmo and forgotten about. What's yer point is basically what I am saying...

seriously, i don't think you can compare both events. the former was an assault and the latter is a dispute over a few miles that can be solved with diplomacy.
- Mimio0
I think our reaction would be more severe if it were civilians who were being held captive.
You may be right though, there's no predicting how Bush would react. He might even send in the re-animated Ronald Regan Ro-beast for all I know.

dobs... Iran says they were in their waters... the brits say differently...
... and given the fact that GPS is used to track military movements - I'm having a hard time believing the Iranians on this.
- mrdobolina0
no bias there though, right kev?

(Mar 29 07, 12:49)I agree. I believe it was stated that they were in fact in Iraqi waters. GPS confirmed.

i have major bias here dobs...
... I think Ahmedenifuck is trying to 'fit in' w/the big boys...
... and he's just going to get people killed.
I call him Ahmedenifuck specifically for the fact he denies the holocaust... fuck him.

the british are notorious for their poor naval navigation capabilities...
- mrdobolina0
Iran is not just Ahmadinejad though, pony.

does anyone actually think that the US should invade Iran?
- Crouwel0
hahahaha invade iran hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
- Mimio0
One of the ideas floating around is that the Iranian Republican Guard did this somewhat independently of the President anyways. There's all kinds of theories as to why they're so pissed as well.(i.e. Americans holding Iranians in Iraq)
- PonyBoy0
i don't want that, dobs...
... and I don't think ahmedenibutt is the say-all end all in Iran... no.
but - he IS the president - if he were say... the 'Jesse Jackson' of Iran... well, then I'd probably just laugh and move on to the next news story...
... but alas - he's a man in power.

hahahaha invade iran hahahahahahahahahaha hahaha
