I feel sorry for him

that's not cancer, that's concentrated evil

i know cancer is one thing.... but he's colon?
- Mimio0
It's so sad when it comes back. Lost a friend that way.

Me too Mimio.

So Kona, you're a Republican Sympathizer?
Just kiddin'
It's sad news. You always only think of having cancer the first time. My Mom had breast cancer and this only makes me think about where else it could return.
- k0na_an0k0
haha mg33.
Sorry to hear that man. Hope it never comes back.

I feel sorry for the boot-licking integrity-deficient hack.

While I am the last thing from a republican sympathizer... this news hit me hard. Tony and I used to work together when he was a writer for Gannet News Service and I an Art Director for some smalltime print publication from the same publisher. We palyed outfield on the softball team together. Super nice guy and a real honest family man as well. We would yuck it up as I constantly gave him shit about his right wing columns and he about my long-haired lefty designer views. But it was just that, our own opinion. It did come as a real shock when he got the prez mouthpeice job though...I wish more folks would agree to disagree and just go out and have a beer afterwards...best thoughts Tony.

great perspective, zombie. well said.
- mrdobolina0
I see what you are saying zombie, but his position in this administration makes it a lot more than just being his opinion.
The guy is a paid liar.
While I don't wish ill will on the guy, I find it real hard to sympathize with someone who is a cog in a machine that makes millions of people suffer for the benefit of a few.

1. i love how bush says that, but is meanwhile cutting cancer funds by $30 million. YAY4BUSH.
2. cancer has always been horrible. i think its petty lowsy that it takes Tony Snow for the american media to suddenly jump all over cancer being bad. my friend lost both of his parents to cancer in the same year.
- zombiewoof0
Yea I guess i still think of him as the dude who overthrew third base more times than made the throw, rather that the mouthpice of the shrub war machine....so my perspective is a bit different.
But yes, paid liar...
although the true neo-cons ACTUALLY believe what they are saying...its like freaky mind control stufff...i just don't get it.

(Mar 28 07, 10:42)ironic... was tony the one to do the briefing on that??
- mrdobolina0
Seems like a super smart and witty guy, zombie. I see what you mean.
But I just cannot stand republicans.
Republicans hate government and want to eliminate it. Thus they should never be the stewards of it.

Regardless of my opinion of the guy and his work in the public/political sphere, you can't really wish cancer on anyone.
I'll have to think well of him in his battle with that particular evil. I had a friend who lost her entire colon to the disease and she's only 22. She's gonna shit into a bag the rest of her life, but as she says, "Hey, I'll never fart again."
- robotron3k0
cancer is very bad and I'm sad for his very personal tragedy to become very public, which i think makes things worse.
on a work related level, if he is truely a stand up guy like everyone has reported, i cam only guess that the stress of creating so many lies, daily, would only contribute to his ailment.
may he recover fully and never return to the bush administration again.
