hi...i went to a site (but i have forgotten the url) thats uses following rollover effect:
if you rollover one menu-link the rollovered one became black the others went lightly grey.
can someone give me a hint how to do this...
i think i have to use javascript. not just plain css!

Use JS. If you don't know how to come up with JS for that, there is a Dreamweaver behavior that creates the JS for you.
