Is it always a pain in the ass in the beginning of hosting? It's quite slow to update. Is it because it's a relatively new account/domain? I'm used to using Ipower and it has been really good to me. I just thought I'd give 1and1 a try and right now I'm regretting it.
Anyone experienced with them?

What do you mean by slow to update?

...I use 1and1 a lot - do you mean slow when you create a new account or set up a new database? It does take a few minutes but nothing that really causes headaches. And small price to pay for what I would say is a top service and easy to use set up - I even let some of my clients loose in the control panel it is that user friendly!

I just set up a new database, with a home package. Despite it being slow right now it does seems a little tooo easy that it even limits me from certain things I'd like to see. We'll see, I'll give it another day until I consider a the money-back and transfer
