How nice?
I stayed at the Mayfair not too long ago. Great place and nicely located. Rooms in London are small as f-ck for the standard ones though. Try to get upgraded or pay extra.

the Millenium on sloane street (knightbridge) is nice (great breakfast) - you can save a fortune through these guys

there are also some great delas on at the Great Eastern - designed by Conran (refurb)

Charlotte Street Hotel.
Website is shite - but the hotel is lovely. Good central location too
