At that price buy both.

The first ones' contrast ration is 700:1. The second ones' is 1000:1

my apple display for the same size was $700.00
so yes buy both!!!
:)

those are big pixels either way
a 20" that displays 1680x1050 is true 96dpi
keep that in mind

Good point v4, you might be better off with 2 higher resolution 19s.

(Mar 16 07, 11:00)What does that mean? Does that mean that on-screen, you see a difference between images that are 72dpi, and 96 dpi?
- version30
but since the price is negligible http://accessories.dell.com/sna/…
as they will better support you
- version30
no just bigger pixels means less definition and setting an image to 96dpi for preview will result in a larger than life image
as an example, make a 3.5" x 2" business card at set the image to 96dpi see how it compares to a business card in your wallet
on my 20" it's the same size, therefore the 22" will be a little over sized

aha, gotcha

unless you stand further away from the screen...
but really, isn't a Dell better value for money?
- version30
ribit, tell me you are kidding with that stand further away nonsense, were talking "on screen" size
(buy the 24" @ 1920x1200)

should i look for smaller dot pitch and better viewing angle...or better brightness and contrast ratio?
what do you guys think is more important..?
thanks
