CS2/Studio or wait CS3

I was wondering on some opinions. I need to setup another new system. Should I just go the current route and buy another copy of CS2 and Studio 8, or with CS3 around the corner wait and get by with umm... trial versions... yeah... until then.
Should I be scared with what they finally do to the Macromedia products? I am surprised at how little concrete CS3 info can be found when it is "supposed" to be released so soon.

i would buy CS3 strictly so you don't have to deal with having every save down for you.

depending on what you do, cs3 is worth getting, and a must on the mac.
calculate upgrades, see whether it makes sense to buy cs2 now and upgrade soonbtw, is adobe software transferable? i mean, is it legal to buy second hand, ie off ebay, with all papers and then upgrade?
