I missed the most hysterical part that my partner just told me.
One of the vans wouldn't start when they were leaving, so they had to jump-start it by having 10 hookers pushing it around on the lot. Then BANG, a thick black cloud and the van starts up... and all the hookers started coughing like crazy from the smoke.

Sex trade victims would be more likely locked up, but you might be right para. They might even be blackmailed, ie by being threatened their families back home would suffer.
