Are there any sites that sell stock illustration from the latest and greatest (most current and popular) Illustrators? Places like Veer seem to be dated as far as illustration syles go. Are there sites specifically created for Illustrators to sell there work (rights reserved and/or managed)?

Yeah... not meaning to call them "stock"... just trying to get accross that I'm looking for Illustrations that are already created/for sale rather than hiring an Illustrator to create something specific for a project. I was using that term very loosely. My bad. But, yeah, you are on the right track as far as your reference goes. Thanks.

I don't know about how hip the designs are, but iStock photo has been growing their illustration offerings of late.

(Mar 12 07, 06:16)sounds to me like "stock" is the correct term.
stock is stock, whatever you wanna call it. if you want something unique or with some purpose or meaning, why not just hire an emerging artist/ illustrator. there's def enough out there looking for work.
