so far the (un)lucky candidate will be asked:
the tree question - twice, once followed by I'm only joking and the second time told it is for real.
and the pint question - how they answer the tree question will determine who pays.

google says:
You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night. You pass by a bus stop, and you see three people waiting for the bus:
1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
2. An old friend who once saved your life.
3. The perfect man (or) woman you have been dreaming about. Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only be one passenger in your car. Think before you continue reading. This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application.
You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus you should save her first; or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back. However, you may never be able to find your perfect dream lover again. The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming up with his answer.
What did he say?
He simply answered: "I would give the car keys to my old friend, and let him take the lady to the hospital. I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the woman of my dreams!"
Sometimes, we gain more if we are able to give up our stubborn thought limitations.
Never forget to "Think Outside of the Box."- i hate bullshit like this. The question was clearly who do you offer a ride to, implying you stay in the car.mantrakid

• ask them to be critical of themselves – what don't they do well, perhaps want to work on.
• ask them what role a computer plays in there design process.
• ask them if they were on a deserted island, what three books they would want to have

First thing you do is tell them how you take your coffee and then at the end of the interview give them a pop quiz.

my friends brother gave an interview recently and the interviewee became so nervous he broke out in hives.
they crawled up his arm .. his neck and over his face
the douchebag interviewer decided to pretend he was fiddling with his camera so he could capture photos of his humiliation.

i was interviewing for a designer a couple of years ago and a visably nervous guy came in, introduced himself, and sat down. I sat there, silent for a few moments looking over his resume. Then I asked, "If you could be a tree what kind of tree would you be?" His face went pale at which point I laughed out loud and said "dude I'm just kidding, relax."
he didn't get the job.
