iPod Battery Replacement

    I'm trying to replace my 4th Generation iPod battery. I bought a replacement kit that gave me a plastic tool that is actually supposed to open this iPod. There is no way in Hell that even Jesus, Mr. Hanky and Santa could team up to open this piece of crap.

    Has anyone paid to have this done (not by Apple. I don't want to spend 1/3 the price of a new one and wait two months)
