this actually does not exist, nor will it for quite some time. haha.
in all seriousness, gCal is probably the best one out there, IMO and is well done functionally, UI wise it is difficult to mod i feel.
basecamp's calendar is well done, but clearly not a true calendar app. i swear, if iCal of Apple could be ported ot the web w/ ajax and shit- it would rule the school. until someone did something better. ;)
good luck and i will monitor this thread as it is pertinent to my working as well.

since i tend to use my calendar using the "month view" i can't stand the way ical treats and truncates the titles. there's no room for anything longer than, let's say, dr's appt. wtf.
- madirish0
unless you make the calendar app window bigger, then it displays more

plus you have to label items "work" or "home" and can't customize. if there is a way to customize i'd love to hear it!
- madirish0
wait- what?!?! you can make an infinite number of calendars and title them any farking thing you want! you can also rename any calendar to whatever you want it to be called.

Hmm well there are a bunch of good ones that are worth checking out.
Google Calendar
http://www.google.com/calendar30 Boxes
http://30boxes.com/Scrybe (Need to be invited)
http://iscrybe.com/main/index.ph…Also don't forget about Yahoo if you have an email account there. I personally use Scrybe since I was lucky enough to get an invite from the developers.
Good Luck.

k...so i can't see the entry even when it's in full screen mode unless i click on it. i guess maybe that's just me?
i did see i can create new "calendars". i was looking for "labels" so that was my bad. thanks for the tip!
- -sputnik-0
(by "not seeing the entry" i mean i'm only seeing a few letters of it unless i click on it)

sputnik:
File > New Calendar
Dbl-click on any calendar name to re-name it
- madirish0
what do you mean by 'labels'? aside from giving the entry a title, and assigning it a calendar, i am not sure what you mean.
- barbtastic0
when she said "labels", i thought she was referring to the NAME of the calendar... ??
- redefine0
thanks to everyone, these are great!
- -sputnik-0
yeah, sorry...i was using the term "labels" to refer to calendar names
- barbtastic0
sputnik, did it work?
- -sputnik-0
well i can change the calendar names and whatnot, but i'm still having issues seeing the entire entry names in the month view unless i click on them :(
maybe i'll stick to the week view unless i really need the month view
- barbtastic0
i'm not sure what you mean, mine go to 2-3 lines if necessary...
- -sputnik-0
really? mine totally stops on one line so something's definitely not right. maybe i should reinstall and update or something.
- barbtastic0
i'm on 10.4.8
i do remember it cutting off before, so updating could be the solution
- -sputnik-0
i'm on the same, but i'm going to try re-updating. thanks :)
