I'm waiting for the sport of xtreme Vespa-ing to finally step up... I expect it'll start out with some sort of event: who can make from home to the coffee shop first w/out being made fun of...

hahaha.
I can't find a suitable pic, but when I was really young my grand parents had a yellow pedal style Vespa that we'd ride all the time.
I friggin loved that thing.
Then one of my older cousins at a 4th of July party at Grandma's got drunk and was drivin the thing around the back yard and everyone was laughing until he ran it into a tree and broke off the front wheel.
That ended the fun.

I used to have a 1976 vespa douglas with no indicators. £3.00 petrol would last me a week.
I only enjoyed it in the good weather but becuase i live in the uk that wasn't very often so i sold it.
