Hello All,
I am curious as to how one can make a distressed vector in Illustrator via Hydro74 (http://www.youworkforthem.com/p... view-6)Can some one point me to a tutorial; a link of some sort. help!? thanks :)

i'm assuming you'll be able use those vectors as clips or masks for your elements so it will look distressed but you can still edit the core object
you can also make your own vector textures by making them in PS and contrasting out to black white for vector conversion if you have the software available

johndiggity,
thanks a lot for these, i really do appreciate it, but how can i make my own. what is the best process?version4,

simple answer not the most detailed
1 make texture or something in PS
2 threshold
3 save as jpeg or something tiff if you want
4 use illustrator's live trace optionthats a quick run through
