Where can I download highres music videos? I don’t mind paying for them but I need them to look uber crisp and nice. I tried downloading them from itunes and re-encoding them but they still looked compressed. Same for capturing from a dvd or tv via analog capture card. I need them for a school project, editing them in aftereffects etc. I need them to look really good and not student-like.
Help!

buy dvds if you don't mind paying for them.

See, that’s part of the analog capturing problem. I have dvds from video directors but ) they aren’t current enough and 2) they don’t look as good when captured via an analog capture card. There’s got to be a place to download videos online right?
Aren’t music videos from iTunes suppose to be high res so you can watch them full screen on your computer? I have pc and it seems to hate the new quicktime H264 compressor. I don’t know why, but if I open a video clip with quicktime it’ll look grainy but if I open it in something like winamp it looks crispy clear. Really weird.

no nothing you download is of any quality whatsoever unless you have a huge I mean huge amount of space and a massive bandwidth in order to handle the shear amount of data.
Look at ripping software unfortunatly the best ones probably cost allot of money to use, if it is for a school project you cannot expect to be able to have acess to the same quality that professionals have access to, see if your teacher can get some funding from the school to get you some better equipment in order to accept some good 4:2:2 footage.
