it irks me that this guy gets his story told on national TV because he's a reporter who got injured in a war zone, he went there voluntarily and gets the absolute best doctors possible
when everyday our men and women who also voluntarily serve there country for next to no pay get wounded just as badly doing more dangerous jobs and get public care to make them better.
it should be the everyday military getting their story told on national TV, not just some reporter who has friends at the networks

i watched and also had trouble holding tears back. yet they get no "Hour long primetime special" for their heroic work.
sad how we forget the people who sacrifice everything for us here at home, REGARDLESS of who or what you support politically.

Anyone know of who to get in touch with to volunteer to work with these guys coming back...it's been something I've been kicking around for a while..
