How do you turn off anti-aliasing for the line tool in CS2? It's driving me nuts and I know it's probably being overlooked.

(Feb 27 07, 08:02)haha. You had me frantically looking for "project management". Interestingly enough, "wtf," is exactly what I said when I read your post.

wtf is right. since your talking about anti-aliasing, i'm assuming you are talking about PS CS2 not AI CS2 ...it wasn't specified in your post...but whats even stranger is that in PS CS2 there is no line tool. could you be talking about the pencil tool...which is capable of doing lines. And as long as it is set to pencil, not brush, there can be no anti-aliasing.

That's odd, zombiewoof. I just checked, and yup, I'm using CS2 and I have the "Line Tool" selected.
Doesn't seem as though you know enough about Photoshop CS2 to answer my question. Any other takers?
P.S. My bad for not specifying.

Here's the thing, I need to make an anti-aliased 5px diagonal line in PS CS2. There used to be an option for anti-aliasing in PS7 and now in CS2 there's not. That's it. Any suggestions?

draw it in AI then paste into PS??

I just figured out why I wasn't seeing it. In case you were wondering, you must switch from"shape layers" to "fill pixels" to see the check box.
