Design for 'Dynamic Signage' aka Narrowcasting

  While the opinions vary if it is nothing but another bubbled hype (see UK) or something that will grow out to be a very useful form of on location communication, fact is that it is pretty darn interesting.
  The funny thing is that you will find plenty of marketing related info about this 'medium' but hardly anything about designing for it.
  What are your experiences and do you know of any articles or websites covering it?
