So do you figure they were like portable stereos? I'd not even thought about the speakers yet.
Although, if the church had a wireless audio system and they could use a receiver to tap into it, that would be amazing.

This is great, it's like 50's leather clad juvenile deliquents meets tech terrorism of the 21st century. You could take it even further by wiring up some of the other pews with buzzers, that will periodically give little old ladies mini ass buzzes and cause some unwitting church orgasms.
