Still kinda rough, but my agency thinks the client might confuse it with another document.
...kinda the point.

Are you applying for a busboy job?

wtf at the donut.
- ********0
the execution is a little off.
- k0na_an0k0
What morilla said. Real nice idea but the execution is a bit off.
Clean it up a bit. Keep the coffee stain but lose the doughnut.
- acedeuce0
hmm... :( i liked the donut.
i'll think about it, what else about the execution? make sure its at 100%
thanks guys
- meok0
Personally, I think its really bad execution. No humor or anything interesting. Just dirty and sloppy.
p.s. its a bad idea to have "I have madd skills"on your website.

HOLY DOUGHNUT!!!
- -sputnik-0
the look of the donut doesn't work...it looks like it's been pasted on from another file (which it has been), the lighting is off etc.
i like that you're trying to be creative, but it looks like you're trying really hard. an art director should be able to wow their employer/client with their work w/out it seeming contrived.

well i think there's humor. i might it's a Pink Slip -Unemployment Form if you didn't get that.
it's supposed to have a sloppy look to it, hence the chocolate and coffee stains.
and the "i have madd skillz" is just a filler. did the site in a week for school.
- acedeuce0
thnx sputnik - that was the reasoning i was looking for to remove the donut.
i agree now.

very bad execution. if you wanna do it right create an original document and handwrite everything yourself - the hadwriting font is awful. any art director that allowed that through should be shot!

I am more impressed with resumes that I get that are clean, simple with all focus being on the work.
I don't have time for the whitty or clever. Don't try to come off that way on your first impression. You don't want ot be that guy.
- acedeuce0
totally agree on the handwriting part.
but circumstance keep me from doing that now. 1) only had a couple hours to design this CV. 2) at my parents with no scanner.
like i said its still rough but thanks for the great comments
- meok0
I do know its a pink slip. But just scanning it as is and putting random stuff in the boxes is just not funny.
I do understand the dirty look your going for. The sloppy was for the execution. Sorry, but it shows a lack of technique.
You should be careful with the typography also. So many font that doesnt work for your piece.

I personally think it is very ugly, nasty and unpleasant to look at. I don't see a point of having such a resume unless you always want to remain unemployed.
Let's say that the idea has a chance... but then you'd have to work hard on making it look clean, nice and not like a piece of paper you pulled from a trash can.
