Yes, the weather is good... But young people don' t eat weather... and can' t sleep in street for good weather... is not reason for shity salaries... Barcelona the most expensive european city house/salary... with a cool packaging...

I'll write that again: I saw an interview with Carlos Ruiz Zafón
who said something like "Barcelona is about to become a theme park of itself". That is kind of what I am afraid.If I were a rich daddy's boy, I sure would be a 'student' in bcn until my late 40's hardface :)

hardface, some 2 years ago someone from bcn wrote here, that the govt was about to tax property that was not being inhabited or rented. Is this law on? Also, is that true that the govt keeps buying property and owns more than 20% of apartments?

i live in madrid and i tell ya its same or even worse here, i know some graphic designers at bigass ad agencies make 700€ month

Past year a great agency here in the north of Spain offered me 900 euros/month, with 10 years of experience, on-line and off-line gross portfolio and 2 babies at home...
A bartender can easily do 1200 or 1500 month here...
