i haven't been, dancer, but i'm hoping i'll get to it. would love to take snuggles when he arrives, but he gets in on the 15th of march - last day! so it's going to depend what time.
either way, i'll bump this after i've seen it. have fun!

Dancer, that site says it only opens today. And unless people went before work...
I want to go to it though. The man was a pictographic genius, as well as creating the only good looking olympic mascot
I'll forgive he creating rotis because of his other work.
what time are you going? It says it closes at 6 which sucks for after work

I can't wait mate... getting my ass down in the next couple of weeks, got the book from Borders a few weeks back, it was £40 but Aicher is one of the reasons I feel in love with design so worth every penny IMO... and the Munich 72 stuff is the jewel in his crown! so to see the whole system... posters, literature, mascot etc in all it's modernist glory will only please the senses!!
Let us know how it was Dancer?!

Ok guys, decided to pop down there during my lunchbreak today as I'm not that far from there.
They were still setting it all – putting the last vinyl captions on etc. But it looks great. Amazing to see all of the graphics together. Also, all the posters are displayed in long lines as they would have been on the street during the olympics.
One of the guys from bibliotheque recognised me, turns out he was a couple of years below me at st martins. I was jealous that he is now working there.
I thouroughly recommend going down. I could have spent much longer there. I loved the poster showing all of the pictograms, they are all so clear but still with a great sense of character.
Inspiring.
