I first registered in 2003 so does that make me old school enough??, I have been deleted 4 times and now am back to my original screen name after the re-design/amnesty!!
as for 5k posts for example Mpfree is a new name and has probably knocked that up in two days! it depends if you live your life on here or not really!!!

me too, I've been coming here since it was a bulletin board and I'd dial in with 2p in an old public call box (the ones that always stank of smoke), and record the days posts on my Sanyo cassette player, which I would then load into my zx80, copying down the hex code it generated, and performing bitwise arithmetic on it by hand, with a pencil, leaving me with a stream of machine code, which if everything went perfectly would result in a short animated sequence of inverse Ks moving down the screen revealing Newstoday, and a 1 sentence post from a Canadian about 'sporty' fonts.
