is there a lot of type? why not use illustrator/vectors?
for type id say minimum 600DPI, for image, 300DPI.

depends on the output. if its high resolution, normal press settings will work. If its vinyl, would likely be different.

most large format ink jet printers are 150 lpi.

I'm putting in a 150 ppi image and using a vector logo.

If its designed at quarter size, images need to be 300dpi, so when its scaled up it prints at 75dpi. It totally depends on the output, just ask the printer.

and make sure you consider the distance at which it'll be viewed. most large format stuff out there is nowhere near 300 dpi.
but 2x3 feet isn't that big either. at that size, I'd say go as hi-res as your imagery will allow you to go.

Call the service bureau who's printing it. They might have info you're not considering.
