the real question is who can do it better a designer or an artist?
the artist will take a bulb from another lamp and use that.
the designer needs client's approval to do anything.

CFL (compact flourescent light bulbs) are eco friendly.
they fit your standard incandescent fixture, give off nice light, are cheap to run and last for a long, long time.
