Haha yea, sometimes I think some of the people running just do it to do it, and after the fail miserably before the primaries even start really ... they just get the old notebook out and check off ‘Run For President’, off their To Do List before they die, haha.

(Feb 15 07, 06:55)There is a much easier and far more recent answer to that which I won't mention...

I'm really happy Obama made the first steps into becoming a true political heavyweight.
However.
To be honest, he does not have enough experience.
He didn't two years ago when he shook the states with his speeches, he didn't three years ago when he was a lawyer.
The ticket to win it, is Edwards/Obama.
Edwards is in tune with what is needed, Barack is in tune with what is needed.
Democrats pick your battles.
Don't everyone rush to have Obama be something he will be, right now. America, is great, and America is not ready.
There are already factions in the Democratic Party who refuse to acknowledge him as an African-American... they want him to be recognized as an African-African-American, because he didn't 'live' the experience.
Now, that's another argument, however, this is what we are dealing with.
Let the public get 4/8 years of impeccable performance at the highest stage.
It will happen.
Edwards has what it takes, and it's just not the South.
I was a big Wesley Clark fan before it became apparent he had no idea how to talk in front of a camera.
Edwards is it. He has 2 years to ruin himself from me, but he is our best ticket.
And I mean that with all respect, haha.
It's just a fact, and when you think about it ... a good fact. That John Edwards would be a great leader.
I just really hope people don't get caught up in the 'woman'/'black' aspect of this, and really look at the best candidate.

He's got my support/vote
But then again, being from Chicago if Cookie from the Bozo show ran I'd vote for him too. Class act I tells ya.

(Feb 15 07, 06:55)Tell ya what, I'll hop into my time machine, throw a sixer into Mr. Fusion and go back to 1909 and tell those people they were stupid for voting for Taft.

I think a female leader of america would be marvellous. I understand the non-dynasty argument, but I think Hilary would fundamentally change american politics she understands the way it works.
Plus she deserves the chance to shag an intern on the desk.

I have a feeling our next president is going to be another honky man.

(Feb 15 07, 07:03)OK, thanks for putting me off lunch...

He was history's greatest monster kona
i wuda said Hillary too, only cos she were a bird. But i dont like her politics, she's all into courting the Israel lobby and wont do fuck all to advance the cause of peace in the middle east and therefore the world. Also she's attractign the centre-right democratic caucus.
That's why i think Obama will be better. But i just dont see the United States electing a black man.
- Kuz0
damn wish i could vote in your elections....
mmm, maybe i can, MAYBE I CAN!!
- lemmys_wart0
