So I was looking forward to picking up Febs edition of CR from WHSmiths. And have just found out that people were offended by the "Mother is Whore" Front cover, therefore have taken them off the shelf.
The whole issue has been a resounding success....

I got one from WHSmith, but they stuck stickers over the front cover so you couldnt read it

"Your Mother is a whore", more exactly. The jolly Indian fellow in Camden looked at me, quite quizzically - as if I'd picked the magazine off the shelves BECAUSE of the cover.
Also, I probably shouldn't've mentioned to friends that "I'm in Creative Review this month!", because (of course) they'd want to know in what capacity and have a look themselves.
Admitting it was for 'something I said online' and giving them a peek into my sad little online world of aimless attritional argumentation with a people named 'chickenhands' is exactly what I've been trying to avoid all these years.

wondered why my local smiths didn't have any of the new one. only place i saw it in had the brown bag all fucked up and ripped. i ain't buying nowt that's all dog eared and ting.

It is quite an interesting read though.
