and if anyone's got quick access to one of those look at how your site looks on a different broser/platform sites, that would be helpful. thanks!
p.s. emphatically NOT responsible for the design of this site, btw.

I don't know para, I can't view the site on a PC at the moment, I'm sure its something quite simple though that someone on here could help you with pretty easily though, eh? come on folks...

ack. i keep trying different stuff but
hold up.
what's this?
i've just got an email from a good smaritan, methinks.

that box with current share price is looking off, otherwise ok

Doesn't look too bad on IE Mac.
Your left Blue bar is missing and the squished picture on the right is not there.
In Safari the cureent share price thing is off .
what do they see as the issue?
- paraselene0
it's meant to be all the way to the left like that, cutting off the border. that's how the designer did it.
the only problem that some people can see is that the image is shunting down underneath that left-hand column...
hmm...

the share price is meant to be all the way to the left like that i mean...

thanks, weestu. that screenshot showed me that the height of that box is wrong. i've fixed that...
now for more blind groping about...
- acescence0
looks better now
- paraselene0
rilly?
oooh, maybe it's fixed.
*hopes

*pulls hair out
thanks, everybody.
- acescence0
i should have qualified that with a "in IE7"
- paraselene0
there was some padding on the share price that i've removed. which might help...

sometimes you'll get quality code out of me under pressure.
and sometimes you'll get utter shite.

it's fixed in IE6 now too.
- weestu0
looks fine IE6 and 7 and FF 2. just a fair bit more padding above the footer in IEs.

phew! thanks, everybody.
wouldn't normally mind, but i've got to go to this client's bloody listing launch in about an hour.
