1)XP installation on a MAC hard or slightly tricky??do i need a particular type of XP.
2)should I get it done instead(ex.tekserve)...?
3)can you go from XP to OS X while on or do you need to restart to go back and fourth

••••••does boot camp need to reboot to switch OS's??

yes bootcamp requires you to reboot. Parallels does not but is also not a free app ike bootcamp. There is also an app called crossover which allows you to open exe files right in the os x environment, no partition or xp installation needed.

how much partition space(4winXP) do i need to or do you guys recommend in your opinion?

if you google, you can get a lot of information on this matter. it's probably faster that way.
also, check out faq section on bootcamp. it's all there.

i run xp in parallels. i prefer it to bootcamp because it runs simultaneously and it is very easy to reallocate and hard drive space. i believe a version of parallels or some sort of plugin either exists or is in the works so that in can run windowlessly, which would be sweet.

Wait, what's the link to this crossover thing?! That sounds great!

i actually run windows from bootcamp in parrallels
so i installed windows on a bootcamp partition (10GB for now, may make it smaller soon)
then i installed parrallels, told it to make a pc from the bootcamp partition
so i can reboot into windows if i want dedicated resources, or run it in a window (or coherence mode which is awesome) when i want to test in IE on my local websites
hope this helps
but yeah, teh google knows all of this
