OK, so I've only just got round to buying a legit copy of this DVD (double disc), which is a sin cause it's fucking marvellous ;)
On the back of the DVD it says there are three Dandy Warhols music videos, including the 'uncut version' of Bohemian Like You. Having seen the uncut version before I know it contains the following:
Two female breasts
Some female pubic hair
One male penisNow, not that I'm really that bothered about seeing said genitalia, but if I buy a DVD that says 'uncut' I expect it to be uncut and not blocked out beyond all recognition.
End rant.
The girl did have a nice pair of maracas though.

Good movie.
The Brian Jonestown party house that they took photos in is right across the street from me.
Sort of funny to watch them walking towards the house and we were like... I know that area... wait thats in front of our house!
Theyre no longer there but it did recently get condemed. I have a feeling they started a trail of bad things at that house.

curious, I watched this just the other day and found it rather amusing.

I find it funny how at the start of the documentary Anton's like... "Dandies are the greatest... we're great friends... BJM and the Dandies are gonna take over the world." Then by the end he's a fucked-up psychopath and calling them sell-outs and losers.
Great documentary. Taylor-Taylor comes across as a bit of a self-involved prick most of the time though.

it's funny--even though anton is a total psychopath he comes off much more sympathertically than the dandys

see the thing is i don't have any sympathy for him, he's fucked and did all the wrong things to stay in a successful band, with his talent he screwed himself while the dandy warholes were working hard and got somewhere

On the DVD extras there's a follow-up on Joel Gion... made me feel kinda sorry for him since he seemed to fit best with the rock'n'roll lifestyle. He now works in a record store and sings vocals for a local band... totally lost the style he once had. All grown up and longing for the good ol' days.
