I did catering agency work in the office canteen in the London offices of Exxon.
The food was ridiculously cheap (like 20 pence for some posh mouse with chocolate and swanky sauce) and very good as well.
Of course I ate for free. I miss that canteen.

after reading my last comment i should probably rephrase that.
'and who ever said i was white' was wrong of me to say, because to the wrong person it could imply that i think white people are racist. i assumed you think i'm white cause you think i'm jazx. i shouldn't have said that.

Subsidised canteens are great... I used to work for the Royal Bank of Scotland and every morning for about 50p I used to get a bacon egg and tattie scone roll with a cup of tea from there canteen.

"guess what; there's no such thing as right and wrong, it's all relative.

john, most people have an innate sense of what is right and wrong and most governments punish those who cross the line of demarcation. There are some core issues that virtually everyone agree upon. It's programmed into us, it seems.
Just think of the logical extreme of relative morality - You couldn't hold anyone accountable for anything because it might just be acceptable by their individual moral code.
As for the environment...
being a Christian, I'm instructed to be a good steward of this planet. And in doing so, I'm pushing back against the "curse" which has corrupted nature. The Bible teaches that God is going to restore this planet and my contribution to preserving it is a picture of his ultimate redemption. I know this is philosophical pap to most people here, but its my driving force for erring on the side of keeping this place clean and beautiful.

i just think it's fucked that i am labeled as morally unconscionable by you because i own stock in exxon, yet you really know so little about me.
save your judgements, that's all i'm saying.

besides, if more environmentally "responsible" people took ownership of companies like exxon, it would be easier to hold them accountable.
- mrdobolina0
