Been briefed to do a 'far out' full-page newspaper advert.
i.e.
1. Putting a hole in the page
2. sticking 2 pages together deliberately
3. deliberately bad colour seperation
4. Spoof articleAnyone seen this kind of thing working? Or have ideas to add to the list?

start with the concept sepho – if you lead with the production tricks, the concept will be secondary (and forced to fit within that framework), and the results will suffer.
what industry is the client in? maybe we can help out with some more info?

sounds like a fun brief. I'd be all over that.

don't forget that if you glue pages together, or knock out a die cut, you'll be responsible for more like 2 full pages (as far as the media purchase).
so in contradiction to my first response, I'll throw out some baseless structural concepts:
• partial origami
• hand tearing
• die cut page border (like a pattern or something along the edges...)
• stickersbut again, it'd be good to have some context for the type of company you're working for...?

heres a clue - read the brief, get an idea!
