Hello folks.
at work here i was using a crappy 15" HP CRT until a coworker brought me in a 21" ViewSonic Graphics series G810 ... CRT as well.
anyone know what i need to hook them up so i can browse the web with the crappy 15" and do my design work on the larger screen .. and yes i've googled it
my intel extreme graphics 2 card says it can handle 2 monitors ..but the dell optiplex they have for me at work only has one plugin for a monitor

The twin-view gfx cards will have both VGA and a DVI connections. You can use a dvi-to-vga connector to hook up the second display.

A VGA splitter.
We have one on the Dell in the design room. 1 VGA out from the Dell, splits into two, one for each monitor.

I used to have that viewsonic monitor. good riddance, that fucker was HUGE and weighed like 100lbs. I carried it around with me through 4 moves.
Beautiful contrast and color, but I take my cinedisplays any day now.

Will a VGA splitter allow you run the displays at different resolutions?
