She was also teaching at CCA(c) in SF as of a couple of years ago. I had her as one of my thesis profs.

Hands off in general. She knows what she likes and what she doesn't and if your style isn't along the lines of hers it could be frustrating. It was good that there were 4 profs for that class.

Taught at CCA{c} and left during some health reasons I believe. I had her as a professor twice while there. She is excellent at what she does, but can be a frustrating teacher if you don't get along. Have heard she is at the Academy of Art, but haven't confirmed it. As far as I know, she is still in the North Bay designing.

i had her for thesis too and she helped me out with type quite a bit. she can def have her days, but who doesn't

Her style is kind of "out-dated" I guess now, at least for my tastes.
I actually met her face-to-face once, but didn't have any idea until a few months later, when I accidentally saw a picture of her somewhere. She was really nice, but seemed sorta crazy.

as mentioned, yes, she's teaching. her book was completed, but never came out. i wrote the publisher, and just got a cryptic response. so odd.

I had her as an advanced type teacher at the Academy of Art University in SF in 2004 and 2005. As far as I know she's still there.
