Design & Artwork, how much?

err...
your going to need to give us more to go on!
most magazines have advert rate cards, you could always have a look yourself?!

Well either way, the Ad will cost a lot, or a shi*load. Paublishing companies live fat healthy lives off their advertising rates.
However, do you mean purchasing an fp Ad, or designing one? If designing one, I would just go with your standard rate.

standard rate with multipliers for client size and circulation size (small, medium, large).

ah thats a good idea blaw, 'multipliers'
Yeah im not purchasing the space just design and artwork + a bit of copywriting, I got all the specs already I was just unsure about charging standard rate or more thats all.

charge as much as you possibly can based on what you know about their budget, the publication, the circulation...
you are worth whatever you charge, as long as your work is good. and don't be afraid to ask for a lot. my agency charges thousands and thousands of dollars for a print ad, although when i was freelancing in my early 20s, I would've been happy to develop a fp print ad for like 1K. I sold myself short.

yeah, completely right! If they got the cake to buy a fp spot, then they got it to pay you.
