ok i have a shape.
above the shape there are several kurves.
how can i achieve that each part of the shape (thats surrounded by curves) gets an individual shape.
with other shapes i could ude the pathfinder, but how ca i do it with curves?

um...what is the shape...can you post a pic of it?

by curves, i assume you mean open paths? close the paths, divide, delete bits outside shape

Or, expand appearance of the curves (if you are talking about a stroke).

ok i have a red area with a lot of white circles cut ouut.
thats my shape.
now i drew wavelike path over that.
if i colour those paths white, i have quite what i need, but but i have to do some detail work on the corners of the red leftover shapes.

pathfinder would help, but it only works with fills not strokes.
i thaught about rasetrizing the whole thing and then trace the red, but there should be a better way.thank you for your help!!

could do that, or just join the points. select two end points, push apple+j.
