projector like animation?

I'm working on a render where we have an old projector that turns on, and will start projecting footage on a wall.

http://accent.tv/client/m80/vide…so right after, projector starts, what I'm looking for is the standard burnt animation from the start of the reel, after effects has like a countdown built in, but I'm not sure if I like it, do you know what I'm talking about? you can see those in old theathers.. I dont know how to call it.. if you do know what I'm talking about, do you know where I can get one to download and use, or to watch and try to copy it?
