Probably nothing more complicated than a large mc getting shifted about on the stage using a tween script.

Looks like its just timeline tweens. If you click one section and then click another really quick you can see it gotoAndStop("whatever");

i'd say the first example is a mixture of scripting and animation... more animation though...
and the second is the other way... but note ho it is lo res/quality as it probably is CPU intensive
