I wrote/designed/illustrated a book that I sent out with samples/business card/resume. Created a website. The whole thing cost several thousand bux, but got me a few nice job offers. Since then I've landed the best job of my career thus far.

for the last few interviews, nobody asked me about my resume.
i also get emails, calls from people who knows me from someone who knows me or something. i feel like my online folio goes around like an easy slut...

I once had an interview when one of the directors was introducing me to the big gun and offered my resume and he said: I don't care about that resume, his portfolio is his resume.
