I liked the last iteration of their site much better. Now if I want to see their work (which has always been gorgeous), I have to go to Borders or buy their tome. Ah, first-rate first-world problems!
I say if they really want to do something different, then do it. Stop talking. This is almost like agency.com after a thorough anal bleaching.

It's strange -- these guys were neither on CNN nor CNBC but I'd be much more inclined to employ them (granted they don't offer the full service that Cahan do).
I was annoyed by the site until I noticed this (while seeking greatness):
"If you are interested in seeing our work we would be happy to send you a customized portfolio tailored to your specific request."
So I've just emailed asking for a full portfolio customized for the gaze of an interested designer. Will repost if I get any response.

Took me forever to find the navigation.
For the only company who's ever been on CNN and CNBC or whatever, horrible User Interface.
I was a second away from closing the browser as I thought it was just a video on a page.

not too sure of this presentation but for the record - they do create good work. mostly smart solutions in print based media. great annual reports and collateral. not online work but good classic typography and print. a little more pre-net than usually featured on NT.
but again, this new site is a bit questionable. i would suggest just checking out their work. they have a good book.

Had a bit of a think about this site, this afternoon... being too clever or out there can shoot you in the foot. They do great work, but they're not a TV company so their video comes across as amateur or MTV Base, keep the camera still for gods sake! Is this what you come to when you're all out of ideas?
PS Also you gan't get gradations of 'uniqueness', you're either unique or not!
