It varies a lot:
"Menstrual flow is the mixture of discarded cells from the uterine lining, mucus, bacteria and blood. The fluid is usually red colored but it is not unusual not to be such. luckily all i had to do was paste it back in

the only way to truly find the answers are with you taking samples everyday and photographing them, or scanning them for pantone comparisons.
also a friend just suggested i do semen paintings, maybe even a semen / menstrual collab, up for it
