...how stoked was the guy that came accross a couple of bran new BMW roadbikes washed up on the shore in a container!
http://today.reuters.com/news/ar…
"There was at least one blue BMW motorcycle, still in its cardboard wrapping, worth some 15,000 pounds ($29,610) Police said they wouldn't stop people from taking goods from Branscombe Beach in Devon."
stoked! haha

Yeah, I heard about that. Apparently there are large fees if you take something without reporting it....or something...

bloody scavengers. not so poetic as the ones in Jamaica Inn though. The ambiance is not quite.

hehehe i just had this image in my head of some poor dude comming accross it and riding off along the beach flipping the bird to the cops ;)
im sure the bikes probably had bad water damage, no fuel, and no keys in reality :/

Sorry, I'm being really vague since I just caught the story while eating dinner, but some guy did mention something about the keys not being there when he attempted to snatch some vehicle.

well uh, this is bs
"About 200 metric tons of oil are thought to have leaked from the ship. The sheen has spread to about 8 km (5 miles) but is "breaking up and dissipating" and did not pose a major environmental threat, it said."
how can 200 metric tons of oil not be a problem?
and this just made me giggle:

My girlfriend was down there last night reporting on it, said there were fuckin chavs everywhere getting all hyped cause they had scored some free boxes of nappies. Sounded pretty sureal as heaps of the cops were out there on the take as well. Hope they clean that shit up asap!!
Something happened like this a few years back can't quite remeber the dets but a few cargo containers with widescreen tvs washed up on the coast. The containers were pillaged but the half the muppets failed to let there tvs dry out before plugging them in, result every anxious theiving bastard graced there living room (caravan) with a brand new exploding widescreen!!
